My name is David Roza and I am a YouTube writer and editor for Task & Purpose, where I write longform video scripts on military tech, doctrine, tactics, history, and geopolitics. I also report and write freelance stories about the impact of Defense Department policy decisions on service members and their families. 

I previously covered the U.S. Air Force and Space Force for Air & Space Forces Magazine, and before that I covered the same beat as a reporter for Task & Purpose. 

Prior to covering the military, I wrote about the FDA for Inside Health Policy and local news for The Ellsworth American, a weekly newspaper in beautiful rural Maine.
